Precious Pearl Makan Haven

Was making kueh lapis, arbi got leftovers of the mixture. Used the mini muffin pan to steam the remaining mixture. Brought it to a party and peeps seem to like this. Next time, I'll just do this version ar bo the layer by layer beri time consuming leh! Huat ah~~~~

Well, I couldn't possibily ignore the main lead of this family. So, here she is. Your familiar 9-layer kueh lapis.

I made these. :P I find this better than the "jiu zhen gao" because the gula melaka portion gave a "pang pang" taste. :D

Well, I saw this duo colour kueh on a certain site and thought, "hey, I can do this." I don't know what flour is being used. For me, I used rice and tapioca flour. Green portion is pandan and the brown, gula melaka. Wanna have a "Name the Kueh" Contest? Hee hee..........

I forgot to which gathering I brought this kueh lapis to. hee hee...... Anyways, I usually make this kueh with tri colours but thought, ahhh....maybe just do 2 colours lah hor. I love this kueh very much, especially from Bengawan Solo. Come to think of it, my favourite kueh.
