My kueh tart My maiden effort with kueh mahmod.

In line with the coming CNY, I started to bake cookies. Here's my frist up. Peanut sugee. This year, the end results were really yummylicious! One could really feel the icing sugar melts in the mouth before getting to the core to finish up the cookie. And it's really addictive!

Okay okay....I know it's a bit, okay, not a bit but too early to be posting CNY cookies. Show you first lah and then see what I can come up with next year. :-P

And then I added crushed peanuts to the dough. Jiak liao buay teng.

Love this CNY cookie. Melts in the mouth. Yum yum.

Yeah, somebody got this for Christmas. *hint hint* She rans a restaurant on Hwy 7/Kennedy. Kekekeke~~~~

Alamak.....pai seh.....I realised the cookies looked burnt eh? But ho jiak leh. *blushing* Ka ki kong hor? Modelled after the traditional fruit cake, I used partial of the ingredients for this cookie.

Okay, don't get excited, nobody got the freebies. I used the tin for storage nia.

Some new "faces" in 2005. Hmm.....I noticed the same guest in the same seat, wearing the same outfit? hee hee..... Well, that was the last batch 'cos yours truly took a break in 2006 and didn't bake any.

The canto say "kiu mm pa gao, jui gan yu sau". Hee hee....if u no understand, sorry lah. Okay lah, translate lah. It means, oh....hold on to your bladder....it's direct translation ah......"trick not afraid old, most important must accept". Ho lah ho lah....don't make sense lah. My point was I made these in 2004 and will repeat the feat this year. Heh heh~~~~ Oh, can you guess/name the cookies therein? Got prezzies, know? :-P

My maiden effort with doing log cookies. Quite a challenge for me to avoid the log from falling apart. :P

I prefer doing drop cookies, no need to shape them.....hee hee.........

Well, Christmas is round the corner and it's time to do some serious baking. This is chopped cashews topped with quartered cherries.
